Engagement photos
This was one of my favorite shoots I’ve ever done. It was for my brother’s engagement photos. It was the first real project I have ever planned outside of school, completely by myself. It was also the first one I actually got paid for, even if it was in the form of groceries. Lots of these pictures were later used in frames, on social media, and even in a painting.
This was a great learning experience for me and taught me the importance of talking through with the client and having the parameters of what they want. Communication is key, and showing both of our visions could have realy helped me plan out the shot list or would have given me a better idea of where they were thinking for photos( They had a very specific spot in mind.)
What makes photography great
Storytelling
Telling a story is human nature. It’s what connects us and teaches us about our selfs. Photos and images are my favorite way to tell a story.
Chalinging
Photography isn’t easy, and that’s part of the fun. You have to learn techniques, editing styles, times of day, and be prepared for equipment malfunctions. Whether it’s waking up at golden hour or chasing down the right angle, it’s always worth the struggle
Creativity
I love the creativity and freedom that come with photography. It allows me to show the beauty I see in the world and make it my own. Photography is a medium that captures a moment

I grew up in a small town called Gooding, Idaho. As a kid, I always grew up camping and loving the outdoors. When I wasn’t studying, I was watching movies, enjoying their cinematography and the stories they tell. As a college student, I had the opportunity to take a class in photography, and ever since, I have fallen in love with the art of photography. I’ve had the chance to express my creative works through photos and editing on several occasions, and even though my future employment will hopefully be video, I will never lose my love of taking photos.
